This meeting comes at a critical time and will review the Fire Stations campaign so far and what we can do next.
The County Council have already moved a little and will be presenting a new proposal to cabinet on 4th February (see below). They now intend to keep one full time appliance and one 'on-call', based at a single new station.
THEY STILL INTEND TO CLOSE BOTH EXISTING FIRE STATIONS and CUT FIRE COVER IN THE BOROUGH.
It is not too late to stop them. We will be presenting our 1,200+ petition to the cabinet so if you haven't signed it please do so now.

The Council's own consultation (see below) showed that over 92% of local residents and businesses are opposed to the cuts. We will also be lobbying the council on 4th February to voice our opposition.
Lobby the County Council Cabinet from 12pm on 4th February outside County Hall, Penrhyn Road, Kingston KT1 2DN.
