The NHS is under attack. We're facing an ever-increasing number of closures to Accident and Emergency departments, maternity wards, and essential care departments. Privatisation is happening across the sector, and the Secretary of State for Health, intent on closing departments, sacking staff, and underfunding treatment, has described the NHS as a "60 year disaster". This meeting will discuss the changes happening in the NHS, with speakers from the Save Lewisham Hospital Campaign, Save Our Hospitals North West London, and Keep Our NHS Public. But most of all, it will be an open organising meeting to discuss how we can start to fight back and defend the NHS.
The meeting is on 22nd January at 7pm in the Arts Lecture Theatre 1
